A certified Life Coach is trained to listen effectively and ask thought provoking questions to help create awareness, insight, and enable the client to make more mindful choices. A life coach doesn’t give advice, but instead provides structure to support the client in arriving at their own realizations and decisions. The coach then assists the client in defining goals and developing plans to meet those goals. Where friends and family can sometimes overwhelm you with their opinions, a life coach will make the conversation solely about you. A life coach will challenge you, hold you accountable, and be your advocate; these are all traits that characterize Angela’s direct and supportive coaching style.
To most people, life coaching seems like an abstract concept but the process isn’t as complicated as you might think. Everything starts with you reaching out to us for a complimentary consultation. During the consultation, we will ask you about your desired outcome from the life coaching process. Once we’ve had a chance to chat and you’re ready to take the next step, we’ll book you in for a single session or one of our session packages.
Before your first session, you’ll need to complete our client intake form; the form helps us gain a better understanding for your topic of concern. Sessions take place in person or online.
Each session is different. A coach will actively listen and guide the conversation based on your responses to their questions. The ultimate goal is to help you gain insight, reach your own realizations, and to determine a strategy for addressing your topic of concern. To be effective, most coaches suggest committing to at least three sessions to achieve this goal.
